As part of our mission to support international science and science communication, the Kolleg Mathematik Physik Berlin (KMPB), in collaboration with Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t and AIMS, proudly sponsors the Pan-African STM Cinema Competition (PASTMCC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Pan-African STM Cinema Competition (PASTMCC) is a unique initiative that encourages participants to create short explainer videos on topics in science, technology, or mathematics. Open to anyone over 13 years old from an African country, the competition offers over \u20ac8,000 in prize money, with \u20ac1,000 for the best entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants were asked to submit their videos on YouTube until October 30, 2024, accompanied by signed approval from two experts in the respective field. The competition aims to promote clear and creative science communication, with bonus prize money for videos in multiple African languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On behalf of the PASTMCC team, KMPB, Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t, and our AIMS partners, we extend our warmest congratulations to all who participated. The hundreds of submitted films showcased incredible passion and insight, making the selection process particularly challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
