Announcing a second set of math-phys seminars for the summer semester organized by Niklas Martensen and Davide Scazzuso.
The focus will be on introductory talks on current research topics in mathematics and mathematical physics, with a good balance between physics and math. As per usual, the talks will be in room 1.023 at the math department on Tuesdays, between 11.15 and 13. Thanks to the support of the KMPB we will also have external guests staying for an entire week, in an effort to foster communication in math-phys between Berlin and elsewhere.
Here is the program for the first few talks:
03/6: Davide Scazzuso (HU) : Remodelling the Gauged Linear Sigma Model
10/6: Kunal Gupta (Uppsala U.)
24/6: Niklas Martensen (HU Berlin)
01/7: Gerard Bargalló i Gómez (HU Berlin)
15/7: Rob Klabbers (HU Berlin)
More information (and potential rescheduling) will be added to the
seminar page (https://www.mathematik.hu-berlin.de/de/forschung/forschungsgebiete/mathematische-physik/borot-mp-homepage/math_phys_seminar).
